Daniel Ursic has a diverse range of work experience spanning over two decades. Daniel started their career as an Industrial Electronics Technician at INDEX-Werke GmbH & Co. KG in 1999. From 2003 to 2006, they worked as an Electrical Design Engineer at HLS Produktions- und Automatisierungstechnik GmbH, where they were responsible for electrical design engineering, control cabinet planning, and programming special purpose machines and industrial robots.
In 2007, Daniel joined NUM GmbH as a Software Application Engineer, where they developed special software applications for CNC machines and gained experience in various programming languages and protocols. Daniel later advanced to the role of Software Application Manager, where they performed reliable project management and implemented innovative ideas for CNC and automation machines. Daniel also handled re-engineering projects for retrofitting and replacing obsolete controller systems.
Most recently, Daniel has been working at NUM AG as an Area Sales Manager since 2020. In this role, they have been responsible for sales, consulting, and customer care in Austria, Slovenia, and Croatia. Daniel offers complete solutions with CNC control units, servo drives, automation components, and individual software applications for machine manufacturers.
Daniel Ursic pursued their education at Max-Eyth-Schule Kirchheim/Teck from 2001 to 2003, where they obtained a Certified Engineer degree with a focus on electrical engineering and software development. Later from 2009 to 2011, they enrolled in a Praxisstudium program at IHK Stuttgart, where they earned a Professional Technical Business Manager (CCI) degree in the field of technology and management-oriented business administration.
