Derek Simonds

Derek Simonds has extensive work experience in the automotive industry. Derek currently serves as the Executive Vice President Automotive at Numa by NumberAI, where they use artificial intelligence to rescue potentially lost business opportunities by resolving calls in Fixed Operations. Prior to this, Derek was a Board Member at Webinarinc starting from January 2019. Derek also worked as the COO at Zeigler Automotive Group, overseeing operations across multiple franchises. Derek served as the VP at Friendship Automotive Enterprises from November 2018 to November 2019. Derek gained valuable experience and worked as the National Sales Manager at The Cardone Group for over 17 years, where they focused on improving the customer experience for dealers and manufacturers. Derek started their career as the General Sales Manager at Family Auto Center and then worked as a Finance Manager at University Dodge.

Derek Simonds obtained an Associate's degree in International Business from Seminole State College of Florida from 1988 to 1990. Prior to that, they attended Deland High School from 1986 to 1988 and earned a diploma in Business Administration and Management, General. In addition to their formal education, Derek Simonds obtained a certification in Gracie Barra ICP 4 from the Gracie Barra Association in June 2014.
