Deepak Shukla

Deepak Shukla is a highly experienced leader in technology and research, currently serving as Director at Numat since October 2025. Prior to this role, Deepak was Vice President of Technology at Ionomr Innovations Inc., where responsibilities included leading the technology strategy and innovation roadmap for electrochemical materials. Deepak has also held positions as R&D Director at Entegris, overseeing the development of advanced battery materials, and at CMC Materials, where a new innovation lab was established. As a Senior Principal Scientist at Eastman Kodak Company, Deepak directed significant R&D programs and led multi-disciplinary teams. An early career included research at the National Research Council Canada and academic positions at the University of Houston and University of Victoria, culminating in a PhD in Photochemistry/Physical Organic Chemistry from the University of Victoria and a Master’s degree in Chemistry from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur.
