Maximilian Wegener

Maximilian Wegener has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Maximilian currently serves as the Co-Founder & Managing Director at Numbat GmbH since February 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Manz AG from January 2017 to September 2020, holding positions such as Product Manager Energy Storage and Process Developer for Production Systems for the Production of Lithium-ion Batteries. From February 2014 to December 2016, they were a Group Leader at Fraunhofer-Institute for Production Technology IPT, and before that, they worked as a Scientific Assistant from September 2010 to February 2014. Maximilian also gained experience as an Intern at FANUC America Corporation in 2009 and as a Student Assistant at Laboratory for Machine Tools and Production Engineering (WZL) of RWTH Aachen University from October 2008 to September 2009. Maximilian began their career as an Intern at Ford-Werke GmbH in July 2004.

Maximilian Wegener has a diverse education history. Maximilian obtained their Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from RWTH Aachen University in 2010. In the same year, they completed a Diploma Thesis in Automation technology and intelligent manufacturing systems at the Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina.

From 2010 to 2016, Maximilian pursued a Doctor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering at RWTH Aachen University. During this time, they also acquired a certification in Quality Management - Six Sigma Green Belt from the same institution in August 2015.

Maximilian then continued their educational journey by enrolling in the ESB Business School at Reutlingen University where they completed a part-time Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in International Management from 2018 to 2020. Additionally, in 2019, they briefly attended the SolBridge International School of Business, where they focused on E-Marketing and Human Resource Management in the pursuit of their MBA degree.
