Tammy Yang

Tammy Yang is the founder, co-CEO and CPO at Numbers Protocol. Prior to this, they were a co-founder and deep learning researcher at DT42 from June 2016 to May 2019. There, they researched algorithms to make deep learning models smaller and faster. From November 2015 to May 2016, Tammy was a data scientist at Viscovery Visual Search, where they did deep learning research for video content analysis.

Before their work in deep learning, Tammy was a software engineer and tech lead at Canonical Ltd. from March 2012 to October 2015. There, they were the tech lead of HP projects. Tammy started their career as a postdoctoral fellow at National Taiwan University from October 2010 to May 2011, where they worked on the E14 Koto experiment in Japan.

Tammy Yang received their PhD in Physics from The University of Manchester. Tammy also holds a Bachelor's degree in Physics from National Taiwan University. Tammy is a graduate of Taipei First Girls Senior High School.
