Jeremy Gray

Jeremy Gray is an experienced data science professional currently serving as Data Science Lead at Numerator since July 2023. Previously, Jeremy held various roles at Twitter as Senior Data Scientist and at Globe and Mail as Chief Data Scientist for Sophi, Manager, and Senior Data Scientist from September 2018 to November 2022. Earlier positions include Lead Educator in Data Science at BrainStation, Senior Data Scientist in R&D at Precima, and Postdoctoral Fellow in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at the University of Toronto. Jeremy’s academic background includes a PhD in Biology from The University of Auckland and a BSc in Genetics from the University of Otago. Additional experiences range from wildlife response work with Maritime New Zealand to outreach efforts with Greenpeace, and laboratory research in environmental microbiology.
