Katy Locklund

Katy Locklund is an accomplished accounting professional with extensive experience in leadership roles within the accounting field. Currently serving as Assistant Controller at Numerator since July 2021, Katy oversees key functions including Accounting, Accounts Payable, T&E, and Treasury. Prior positions at CNA Insurance include Director of Corporate Accounting, where Katy managed a team of seven and led the implementation of ASC842 and IFRS16 lease standards, as well as overseeing HR accounting functions. Katy has also held roles as Accounting Manager and Accounting Consultant at CNA Insurance, demonstrating expertise in financial accounting and compliance. Earlier career experience at BDO USA, LLP involved leading audits for major clients and providing training for junior associates. Katy holds a Master’s Degree in Accounting and a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from DePaul University.
