Tyrone Strangway

Senior Data Scientist

Tyrone Strangway is a Data Scientist at Numerator since February 2022, with previous experience as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, where research focused on applying artificial intelligence to gerrymandering. Notably, Tyrone was a finalist in the Princeton Gerrymandering Project's Great American Mapoff. Academic roles at the University of Toronto include serving as a Graduate Research Assistant in the Computer Science Theory Group, where research intersected artificial intelligence and voting, and as an instructor and course coordinator for a second-year computer science course.
