Jayakar Samuel serves as the CFO of the Numeric Division at Numeric India, a Group Brand of Legrand, since May 2012, overseeing an annual turnover of 600 crores across six factories and thirty branches, with a workforce of approximately 2000 employees. Prior to this role, Jayakar held the position of CFO at Numeric Power Systems Ltd from February 2009 to May 2012, a listed public limited company now known as Swelect Energy Systems Ltd. Jayakar's career also includes experience as Senior Manager of Accounts at MRF Ltd from August 1994 to February 2009, focusing on corporate accounts and statutory audits, and as Assistant Superintendant at Ennore Foundaries Ltd from October 1992 to August 1994, managing accounts receivable and credit control. Educational achievements include a Master's Degree in Accounting and Finance from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry from Madras Christian College.
