David Carpenter is the President and Founder of Numeric Recruiting and Staffing, an executive recruitment and contract staffing firm established in December 1999 that specializes in digital analytics and serves Fortune 1000 companies. In addition, David has been a Partner at Numeric Analytics since February 2007, providing consulting services in data science, data architecture, and data engineering. Prior to these roles, David was the Managing Partner at Smith Hanley Associates from March 1992 to November 1999, where recruitment efforts began in the biostatistics market and expanded to include contract placement for SAS programmers and data managers. David holds a Master of Science degree in Urban Planning from Florida State University, completed between 1975 and 1977.
