Ben Baker is an experienced engineering professional currently working at Numeric since January 2024. Previously, Ben held various roles at Brex from March 2021 to June 2023, including Tech Lead and Senior Software Engineer focused on Brex Cash, as well as Software Engineer in Payments. Ben was part of the founding team at Polimorphic from August 2019 to November 2020, contributing to the development of a governmental operating system. Earlier experience includes an internship at Facebook in mid-2018, a research assistant position in Duke University's Department of Radiology, consulting for Social Entrepreneur Corps, and co-founding Digit Medical, which aims to enhance patient-doctor communication. Ben holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Duke University, earned between 2015 and 2019, and graduated from Oakwood High School in 2015.
