Jamie Painter

SVP XVA Development

Jamie Painter has extensive experience in software development and quantitative analysis, currently serving as SVP of XVA Development at Numerix since August 2018. Previously, Jamie held the position of VP of Platform Development at the same company and worked as a Computer Scientist at Prediction Company, LLC from July 2014 to July 2018. Jamie's career at Numerix began in January 2010, where the role was Vice President of Portfolio Infrastructure Development. Earlier experience includes working at Black Mesa Capital LLC as a Software, Systems, and Quant geek from August 2002 to January 2010, and as a Software Geek at TurboLinux from 2000 to 2002. Jamie also spent time as a Staff Scientist at LANL from 1995 to 2000 and served as an Assistant Professor at the University of Utah Computer Science from 1989 to 1995. Jamie holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Washington, earned between 1976 and 1989.
