Marc-André Picard, M.Sc., FRM, is a seasoned quantitative developer with extensive experience in financial engineering and analytics across multiple firms. Currently serving as a Quantitative Developer and Lead Financial Engineer at Numerix since April 2023, Marc-André previously held several roles at FINCAD, culminating as a Senior Financial Engineer, where responsibilities included designing quantitative solutions for derivatives pricing and risk management, leading analytics teams, and developing valuation services in Python. With a background in portfolio management as Co-Founder of Epoque Investissement Inc., and academic roles at Université Laval, Marc-André has demonstrated expertise in leading research initiatives, developing trading strategies, and mentoring students. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Financial Engineering from Université Laval and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Université de Sherbrooke.
