Nic Trainor

Nic Trainor serves as the Vice President of Quantitative Development at Numerix, a position held since June 2012, after progressing from a role as a Quantitative Developer within the same company. Previously, Nic Trainor worked at Rutgers University from September 2004 to June 2012 as a Teaching Assistant and Graduate Assistant, focusing on subjects such as Calculus and Numerical Analysis. Additional experience includes coaching roles at County College of Morris and Allegro Volleyball Club, where successes include winning the NJCAA Division II Region 19 championships. Earlier internships at Rockwell Collins and Fastek International contributed to skills in GPS systems and documentation of code. Nic Trainor holds a PhD in Mathematics from Rutgers University and a B.S. in Mathematics with a minor in Computer Science from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.
