Stephen Cheng

Stephen Cheng is Managing Director of Sales, Asia North. He holds over 18 years of sales experience in the financial software industry.

Stephen joined Numerix in 2008 to spearhead the launch of the Hong Kong office. He was responsible for developing new business areas within China, Hong Kong and Taiwan. During this time, Stephen built a strong customer base in the region. In 2017, he was appointed as Managing Director, North Asia to cover Korea and Japan in recognition of his success in pioneering Numerix’s growth and development in the Great China region. Stephen currently manages a dynamic sales team devoted to expanding the business and providing an unwavering commitment to the clients in the region.

Prior to joining Numerix, Stephen was Vice President of Sales for WealthCraft Systems Ltd, a wealth management software company. In that role, he focused on developing new market segments and formed strategic partnerships with large global companies. Stephen was instrumental to major client acquisitions in Hong Kong and Taiwan. Preceding this, he was a Sales Manager in Misys, currently known as Finastra.

Stephen holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineer from Queen’s University, Canada.
