Steve Karmesin

Steve Karmesin is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in software development and infrastructure management. As the Senior Vice President at Numerix LLC since December 2005, Steve leads CrossAsset Infrastructure development and has contributed significantly through various strategic projects, including risk analysis and GPU computation as a Senior Developer. Previously, at Black Mesa Capital, Steve designed and implemented an equity order submission system, while at Turbolinux, played a leadership role in developing the award-winning server provisioning tool. Steve's earlier experience includes leadership at Los Alamos National Laboratory, where Steve led a team to create an advanced C++ framework for scientific computing, and a tenure as Research Faculty in Applied Mathematics at the California Institute of Technology. Steve holds a PhD in Applied and Computational Math from Princeton University and a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Caltech.
