Ana Grajales

Country Director at Numida

Ana Grajales has a wealth of experience in the energy sector, having worked in various roles since 2010. Ana began their career as a Summer Intern at CentreForum in 2010, followed by a Consultant position at StratCo Consultores Asociados in 2015. In 2013, they took on the role of Analyst at Selco India, where they developed formal marketing processes, indicators and measurements for SELCO Solar’s marketing and outreach activities. In 2016, they became a Research Assistant at Columbia University - School of International and Public Affairs. In 2017, they held two roles simultaneously, as a Graduate Finance Intern at Echo Mobile and a Graduate Consultant at Solar Sister, where they evaluated and developed a business case for adoption of PAYG solar technology. In 2018, they became a Business Strategy Fellow at Fenix International. In 2019, they took on the role of Business Strategy Manager at ENGIE Energy Access, where they built customer service and support standards across African markets, advised and supported country pilots and projects, and developed a strong Customer Voice Program across all markets. Most recently, in 2021, they became Country Director at Numida Technologies.

Ana Grajales completed their high school education at Colegio Bolivar from 1995 to 2008. Ana then attended Yale University from 2009 to 2013 and earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) with a double major in Economics and Global Affairs (International Development concentration). In 2016, they completed their Master's Degree in Public Administration - Development Practice at Columbia | SIPA.
