Herb Hoffman

Herb Hoffman is an experienced legal professional specializing in intellectual property, currently serving as the Director of Intellectual Property at Nuna since April 2022. In this role, Herb leads the IP legal team, collaborates with the chief development officer and international legal counterparts, and is responsible for the protection and expansion of the company's IP portfolio, advising on legal risks and strategies, and executing IP strategy aligned with business goals. Prior to Nuna, Herb worked as an Intellectual Property Attorney at BakerHostetler from January 2014 to March 2022, and previously at Woodcock Washburn LLP, where responsibilities included patent application preparation and prosecution. Herb's technical background includes roles as a Systems Engineer at both The SI Organization and Lockheed Martin, focusing on systems engineering and integration. Herb holds a Doctor of Law from Temple University, a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania, and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Lehigh University.
