NUO Spa is an investment firm owned 50% by Exor, one of Europe’s leading family-controlled holding companies, and 50% by WWICL company, the oldest family office in Hong Kong with over 60 years of experience in Asia.  Born in 2021, from this partnership between two multi-generational entrepreneurial families, we inherit from our founding partners a clear purpose, values and long-term investment horizon as well as a deep understanding of family and owner-operated companies. 

We focus on long term private equity investments in Italian mid-sized companies with the potential to grow globally, and especially in fast-growing Asian markets where we leverage on an extensive network of resources and know-how across industrial and financial sectors.

Our purpose is to empower the portfolio companies to grow value and be future proof, providing not only capital but also support on how to achieve greater scale, yet never losing sight of nurturing human, cultural and environmental capitals. 

We foster an inclusive and authentic corporate culture underpinned by a solid set of values, an entrepreneurial mind-set, and a vision to grow sustainably, ensuring value creation over time for all our stakeholders. Today, we are a team of 12 passionate professionals from multiple international backgrounds with offices located in Milan and Hong Kong.
