Halvard L.

Halvard L. is an experienced academic and editor currently serving as Associate Editor at the European Journal of International Relations since January 2022, and as a Research Professor at the Norwegian Institute of International Affairs (NUPI) since October 2002, where Halvard has also held roles as Senior Researcher and Research Group Leader. With a PhD in Political Science from the University of Oslo, completed in May 2011, Halvard has a strong background in research and teaching, having worked as an External Lecturer at the University of Oslo and as an Associate Professor II at the Norwegian University of Life Sciences. Additionally, Halvard has contributed to various publications, including co-editing Internasjonal Politikk, and has held positions such as Visiting Scholar at The Watson Institute and Research Assistant in multiple capacities.
