Ryan McCormick

Ryan McCormick is a highly accomplished engineer with extensive experience in cardiovascular device development and organic optoelectronics. Currently serving as Vice President of Operations and Development and Principal Engineer at NuPulse, Inc., Ryan plays a crucial role in the development of a left ventricular assist device and has been integral to a significant US clinical trial. Prior experience includes a DEEP SEA Fellowship at Duke University, focusing on turning research into a marketable product, and a postdoctoral associate role where Ryan developed organic thin film gas sensors for diabetes monitoring. With a strong foundation in mechanical and electrical engineering, Ryan's educational background includes a Ph.D. from Duke University and degrees from Boston University and Georgia Institute of Technology.
