Andrei Marcu

Andrei Marcu is an experienced IT professional with a solid background in system administration and engineering. Currently serving as Windows Lead at NuRD since August 2018, Andrei manages the infrastructure across Romania, Ukraine, and US offices and collaborates on Active Directory migration projects. Previous roles include System Engineer at Cegeka Romania, where responsibilities included incident management and infrastructure enhancements, and System Administrator at BC Mobiasbanca - Groupe Societe Generale SA, focusing on automation, Active Directory, and server management. Andrei also has experience in IT support within the Border Police and technical engineering roles at Norma SRL and Moldelectrica, where tasks included network maintenance and local area network redesign. Andrei holds a Master’s degree in Securing Web Applications from ASEM and has completed further education at DNT, Chisinau.
