Premal Ashar

Premal Ashar has a long and varied career in the technology industry. Premal began their career in 1998 as a Senior Member of Technical Staff at Yago Systems. Premal then moved to Cabletron Systems in 1999 as a Technical Lead. In 2000, they joined Riverstone Networks as a Senior Technical Lead. From 2003 to 2005, they were a Senior Software Manager at Consentry Networks. Premal then joined Nevis Networks as a Director of Software Engineering. In 2009, they co-founded Enlighted Inc, a Siemens Company - GTC and held the roles of Co-Founder, VP of Customer Operations and Co-Founder, CTO/VP Engineering. In 2014, they became Co-Founder, VP of International Business Development at Enlighted Inc. In 2016, they founded Nuro Technologies, an IoT B2B2C business.

Premal Ashar received their Bachelor of Engineering - BE in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from VESIT between 1993 and 1996. Premal then went on to Louisiana State University where they earned a Master of Science - MS in Computer Science between 1996 and 1998.
