James Kerrigan is an experienced Embedded Software Engineer with a strong background in Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing and validation across multiple sectors, including automotive and semiconductor industries. Currently serving as an Embedded Software Engineer in Test at Nuro since March 2021, James leads HIL testing efforts for Nuro vehicles. Prior to this, James held roles as a Senior Test Engineer at Harley-Davidson Motor Company focusing on EV HIL Systems, and as a Staff Test & Validation Engineer at BYTON, where automated testing systems were designed for embedded Linux Gateways. James also contributed to the development of machine control software at PDF Solutions and application software at Applied Spectra, Inc. James earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechatronics from the Institute of Technology, Sligo, completed in 2011.
