Lei Kang is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in leadership and engineering roles across multiple organizations. Currently serving as a Tech Lead Manager at Nuro since October 2020, Lei oversees two engineering teams focused on developing advanced visualization products. Prior to this role, Lei co-founded Flivery as CTO, where a pioneering autonomous drone system for payload tracking was developed. Previous positions include Senior Software Engineer at Cruise, where Lei implemented a scalable WebRTC video/audio streaming pipeline, and co-founder of Let's Sublease, an online housing platform that achieved significant user engagement shortly after launch. Lei's early career includes internships at prominent companies such as Google, Microsoft Research, and Qualcomm.
