Kenneth Freeman has over 14 years of experience in the interior landscaping industry. In 2020, they began working as the Owner of Purposeful Places, Product Optimization and Commercial Representation at Nurtio Technologies, Workplace Wellbeing and Biophilic Design Consultant at Fusion Spaces, and Business Development - UK at Vitesy. In 2021, they became the Chair of plants@work and Technical Trainer and Horticulture Specialist at Planteria Group. In 2022, they were appointed as the Head of Biophilic Design and Wellbeing at The Living Surface Co.

From 2006 to 2011, Kenneth Freeman served as Head of Innovation, International Technical Director, and Head of Ambius University at Ambius. During this time, they led Ambius's research, innovation and development function, and achieved Planet Positive status. Kenneth was also the Chairman of the European Federation of Interiors Group (EFIG) from 2011 to 2020, where they represented the interior landscaping industry and ran an annual awards programme.

Kenneth Freeman attended Deepings School from 1977 to 1984 and then went on to earn a BSc (Hons) in Agricultural Botany from the University of Reading in 1988. In November 2021, they obtained a RESET AP certification from RESET.
