John Anderson

Controls Engineer at Nusano

John Anderson began their work experience as a Circuit Breaker Group Engineering Intern at Voyten Electric & Electronics Inc. in December 2016. John tested and measured power systems, managed projects in the testing division, and tested refurbished breakers for industry standards. From August 2017 to May 2019, John worked as a Mapping Technician at Penn State University. In May 2019, they interned as a Product Development Test Group Engineer at Komatsu Mining Corp., where they designed and implemented circuits, created enclosures, and developed PLC logic programs. From May to August 2020, John served as a Streetcar Group Electrical Engineering Intern at Brookville Equipment Corporation. John'sresponsibilities included producing audio files for streetcar announcement systems, performing failure analysis, and describing circuit functionality. From October 2021 to June 2022, they worked as an Electrical Project Designer at Core States Group, where they designed EV charging stations, developed CAD and Microsoft Office tools for increased efficiency, and analyzed loads. Currently, since June 2022, John is working as an Associate Controls Engineer at Nusano, where they use Solidworks Electrical to draft schematics and cabinet layouts, builds and maintains electrical control cabinets, and selects parts for product development and troubleshooting.

John Anderson attended Penn State Erie, The Behrend College from 2016 to 2021, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. In August 2021, they obtained their certification as an Engineer In Training from the Board of Professional Engineers.
