Robert Emery currently serves as the Accelerator Facility Director at Nusano, a position held since June 2023. Previously, Robert was the Director of the UW Medical Cyclotron Facility from March 2012 to June 2023, where responsibilities included providing technical direction, oversight, and financial management. Prior experience includes a role as a Research Engineer at the University of Washington Medical Center from January 1995 to February 2012, focusing on control system design and operations support for particle accelerators, along with consulting for a proton therapy facility. Earlier in Robert's career, experience as an Operations Engineer at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory was gained from June 1990 to September 1992. Robert holds both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Washington, obtained in 1994 and 1991, respectively.
