Sherry Kim has over 20 years of work experience, starting with their role as a Medical Assistant at Santa Barbara Neighborhood Clinics from 1999 to 2002. Sherry then worked as a Supervisor in Reagent Manufacturing at DPC from 2003 to 2004, where they supervised a team of 10 and managed day-to-day production. From 2005 to 2007, Sherry held two roles at Baxter Bioscience, serving as a Department Specialist in Metrology and later as a Supervisor II in Teardown Manufacturing. In these roles, they were responsible for various tasks such as staff supervision, training, equipment maintenance, and ensuring compliance with regulations. After that, Sherry worked at Pharmavite, LLC from 2007 to 2014, first as a Packaging Supervisor and then as a Product Safety and Sanitation Supervisor. Sherry managed packaging operations and supervised sanitation practices. Lastly, Sherry joined Micronova Manufacturing Inc. in 2014 as a Quality Manager/Microbiologist. Sherry held this role until 2019, overseeing quality assurance processes. Currently, they work as a Regulatory Affairs and Quality Assurance Manager at Nusano.
Sherry Kim obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology from UC Santa Barbara, where they studied from 1998 to 2003. During the same period, they also earned their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Asian-American Studies from UC Santa Barbara. In 2017, Sherry Kim obtained the certification of ASQ Certified Quality Auditor from ASQ - World Headquarters. Sherry furthered their professional qualifications in 2018 by obtaining the ASQ Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence certification from the same institution.
