Reclaimed teak furniture.
Ready-made and custom-designed.
Genuinely sustainable.
No greenwashing.

The world doesn’t need more mass-produced fast furniture. Nusantara Lifestyle makes things that last, using materials we already have and that create as little negative impact as possible.

Everything begins with reclaimed teakwood and other sustainable materials sourced from across Indonesia. Not just because it looks good (and it really does), but because we believe in doing things right.

Indonesia’s rainforests are rich in biodiversity and vital to global carbon storage but are under serious threat. Everyone in the timber industry says they’re sustainable because they use plantation timber or plant trees. But plantation timber isn’t truly sustainable: it relies on monoculture systems that damage ecosystems and take decades to mature.

Real sustainability means working with what already exists. That’s why we only use reclaimed wood, mostly salvaged from traditional Javanese homes. Dried naturally over decades, it’s strong, full of character, and less likely to warp, crack, or let you down.

We’ve got a small, mighty team in Indonesia — craftspeople who’ve mastered their trade over generations. They turn timber with a story into timeless pieces built to last. Maybe even forever, if you treat them right.

Sustainability, for us, isn’t just about materials. It’s about community, culture, and accountability.

Whether it’s a custom table or a comfy chair, we’d love to help bring it to life.

What are you sitting on? What are you standing on? Do you know where the materials came from and the impact they've made?

Feel good about using wood.
