Chris McDaniel

Chris McDaniel is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the nuclear engineering sector. Currently serving as Commercial Manager at NuScale Power since December 2022, Chris previously held various roles at Naval Nuclear Laboratory, including Advisory Engineer and Directorate Lead Black Belt. Prior experience includes positions at Bechtel Corporation as Training Engineer and several leadership roles in the US Navy, culminating in the role of Commanding Officer. Chris has also worked with GE Energy and TVA, contributing to steam turbine validation, nuclear quality assurance, and balance of plant engineering. An alumnus of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Chris earned a Bachelor of Science in Nuclear Engineering.
