John Spilar

John Spilar has a strong background in the telecommunications industry, with experience in various roles and responsibilities. John recently joined NUSO as Director of Cloud Carrier Vendor Management in July 2022. Before that, they worked at Peerless Network, Inc. as a Sales Director from August 2019 to July 2022.

Prior to their role at Peerless Network, Inc., John served as Senior Manager of Wholesale Voice Sales at Windstream, where they managed the entire profit and loss of all wholesale voice products. John oversaw sales and pricing teams and led product development and enhancements. Before Windstream, they worked at EarthLink as the Carrier Voice Manager, where they were responsible for the profit and loss of carrier term voice products and managed relationships with clients and vendors. John also held the position of Senior Vendor Relations Manager at EarthLink, where they established and maintained relationships with voice termination vendors.

Before joining EarthLink, John worked at Deltacom as a Business Analyst, where they provided financial analysis and decision support related to pricing of voice and data services. John also worked as a Graduate Assistant at Cleveland State University.

John Spilar pursued their higher education with a strong emphasis on finance. In 2001, they enrolled at The University of Toledo and completed their Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance in 2004. Following this, in 2005, they joined Cleveland State University to further their studies, where they earned a Master of Business Administration degree in Finance in the same year.
