Waylon Waters has extensive experience in business development, sales, marketing, and client relationships. Waylon joined NuSource in 2013 as the Director of Business Development, where they played a key role in executing strategies, ensuring profitability, and maintaining customer satisfaction. As the first full-time employee of this startup joint venture between MPR Associates and Gavial Holdings, they reported to the Chief Operating Officer and the Board of Directors.
Prior to their role at NuSource, Waylon worked at Energy Steel as the Nuclear Sales Manager. Waylon joined the company in 2000 and held various responsibilities, including sales and sales management, marketing, business development, estimating, production, order entry, inventory control, procurement, and supply chain/purchasing. Reporting directly to the President, Waylon played a crucial role in coordinating business initiatives, implementing growth strategies, and integrating processes across the organization. Waylon held this position until 2013.
Waylon Waters attended Permian High School from 1993 to 1995. After high school, they went on to study at Colorado State University from 1995 to 1996. Waylon then transferred to New Mexico State University, where they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree in Business Advertising & Marketing from 1997 to 1999.
