Christopher Biegel, P.Eng, has extensive experience in process engineering and process safety management, currently serving as Superintendent Process Engineering & PSM at Nutrien since November 2014. In this role, Christopher oversees a multi-discipline team at the Redwater Fertilizer Facility, supporting various process units, including ammonia and urea plants. Previously, Christopher held roles as Sr Supervisor and Operations Engineer, focusing on ammonia, urea, and water treatment facilities, and contributed to the commissioning of a $1B urea facility. Prior experience at Agrium included responsibilities as a Urea & Utilities Process Engineer and Process Engineer, where Christopher ensured safe operations, handled capital projects, and supported process safety initiatives. Additional experience includes a co-op position at Suncor and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Alberta.
