Michael Vaidya -

Michael Vaidya is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in information security management. Currently serving as the Chief Information Security Officer at Nutrien since January 2018, Michael has held various roles including Director of Cybersecurity, Records Information Management, and IT Compliance, as well as Senior Manager in similar domains. Prior to Nutrien, Michael amassed significant expertise at Agrium from 2003 to December 2017, progressing through positions ranging from Information Security Analyst to Information Security Manager. Earlier in the career, Michael worked as a Network Analyst at Agrium and as a Network and Systems Integration Specialist at SMART Technologies. Michael holds a Bachelor of Applied Information Systems Technology with a major in Network Management from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology, along with a Computer Engineering Technology Diploma from the same institution. Michael is also a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
