Patrick Kurtz

Patrick Kurtz has extensive experience in occupational health and safety, having worked in various roles from 2001 to 2021. As the Regional OHS Advisor for Correctional Service of Canada, Patrick planned and led OHS and return-to-work programs, provided guidance to local advisors and safety officers, and conducted investigations into workplace incidents. At Nutrien, Patrick served as Safety Supervisor and later as Safety Leadership Coach, focusing on safety performance and engaging leaders across Potash sites. Prior experience includes managing traffic safety and training programs at Saskatchewan Safety Council and working as a Health and Safety Officer at HRSDC, promoting compliance with health and safety regulations. Patrick holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from the University of Saskatchewan and a certificate in Occupational Safety and Health Technology from the University of Alberta.
