Sovith Sin, PhD, is an independent consultant specializing in agriculture, food systems, rural development, and climate change. With over 31 years of work experience across the USA, Cambodia, and Laos, they have held significant roles including Food & Nutrition Policy Adviser at Nutrition International and former National Project Coordination and Technical Adviser at MOEYS in Cambodia. Sovith completed a Ph.D. in Forestry from Iowa State University, an MSc. in Plant Genetic Resources Conservation and Utilization from the University of Birmingham, and a BSc in Agronomy from the Royal University of Agriculture in Cambodia. Presently, they continue to contribute as a lecturer at Norton University and engage in various consulting projects related to agricultural development and policy formulation.
