José Alves

José Alves has a diverse and extensive work experience in various roles and industries. José is currently the VP of Growth at Nutrium, where they are responsible for driving the company's growth strategy. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Marketing & Growth at Nutrium, where they played a key role in promoting affordable access to nutritional counseling.

José also worked as an Invited Assistant Professor at NOVA IMS Information Management School, where they shared their expertise and knowledge with students. Before that, they held the position of Chief Marketing Officer at Forall Phones, a company focused on recommerce of electronic goods, where they helped make premium technology affordable and raised 4 million euros in funding. José also served as the Head of Performance Marketing at Forall Phones, overseeing digital acquisition and retention strategies.

Furthermore, José worked at 360Imprimir as the Google Display Team Leader and Digital Marketing Analyst. José contributed to changing the way small and medium enterprises develop their marketing strategies by offering high-quality printing services. In addition, José gained experience as a Marketing Director and Marketing Consultant at ISCTE Junior Consulting, where they managed successful projects and signed agreements with a PSI-20 company.

Earlier in their career, José worked as a Digital Marketing Intern at LeasePlan and as a Team Member in the Department of Communication at AIESEC in ISCTE. José Alves has a diverse education background. José obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing Management from ISCTE Business School between the years 2013 and 2016. Prior to that, from 2009 to 2012, they completed their secondary education at Escola Secundária de Viriato, specializing in the fields of Science and Technology.

In terms of additional certifications, José obtained a certificate in Retention + Engagement from Reforge in March 2023, as well as a certification in Marketing Strategy from the same institution in April 2022. Additionally, they received a certification in Product Management from One Month PM in January 2021.
