Mohammad Hashemi

Mohammad Hashemi is a Senior Research Scientist at Starpharma since April 2018, specializing in the design, synthesis, and characterization of new chemical entities for pharmaceuticals, with responsibilities in product development and compliance with GMP standards for clinical production. Prior to this role, Mohammad worked as an R&D process chemist at Advanced Molecular Technologies Pty Ltd and as a research assistant at Macquarie University. In the academic realm, Mohammad has extensive teaching experience at Macquarie University and the University of Sydney, alongside a solid research background including a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from Macquarie University. Notable early career roles include project management in medicinal chemistry at Ara Pharmaceutical Co. and graduate research at the Chemistry and Chemical Engineering Research Center of Iran. Mohammad has published three papers and presented at multiple international and national conferences.
