James Lauerman has extensive experience in customer support and success across various industries. Currently serving as a Customer Success Specialist at Nutshell since August 2022, James previously held roles at Venmo as an Escalation Specialist and Customer Support Specialist from October 2016 to July 2021. Prior to that, James worked at Groupon as a Quality Assurance Analyst and Customer Support Representative from January 2012 to May 2016. James also has a background in music education, having been a Music Instructor at Ann Arbor Music Center from May 2002 to November 2011, and served as a Supervisor in shipping and receiving at 8th Street Music from July 2008 to March 2010. James holds a Bachelor of Science degree in History from Eastern Michigan University, completed in 2011.
