Stephen Payne

Stephen Payne is a Senior Engineering Manager at Nuuly since January 2024, previously serving as Chief Technology Officer at Ready Life and MoCaFi, where responsibilities included developing technology roadmaps and budgets to align with growth projections. At SoFi, as Senior Director of Software Engineering, Stephen managed multi-location development efforts for a new checking account product. As Vice President of Software Engineering at Zenbanx, leadership resulted in the launch of multi-currency savings accounts and a successful acquisition by SoFi. Earlier roles included Development Team Lead at Urban Outfitters and various managerial positions at Accolade, ING Direct/Capital One, Lockheed Martin, and Villanova University. Stephen holds a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Maryland.
