Joubert Steyn

Joubert Steyn is an accomplished professional with a diverse background in finance, technology, and business development. As the Founder of Groundswell Systems since August 2023, Joubert is focused on integrating capital, business acumen, and technology. Joubert also serves as a Non-Executive Director and Commercial Director at Nuvalaw since November 2020. Previously, Joubert was a Partner at Translink Corporate Finance, specializing in mergers, acquisitions, and capital raising from September 2015 to April 2020. Joubert played pivotal roles at Metropolitan Health Group from October 2006 to February 2015, where responsibilities included Head of IT, Head of Business Development, and Head of Strategy. Joubert co-founded GreenX Energy, a renewable energy trading company, from January 2004 to August 2006, and held positions as General Manager - Africa and Chief Financial Officer at Mosaic Software (now ACI Worldwide) from January 1997 to December 2003. Joubert holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Stellenbosch University and an Honours degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of South Africa.
