Amber Knee

Amber Knee is a Social Impact Director in Real Estate at Nuveen, a TIAA company, since October 2023. Previously, Amber served as Associate Director of Social Impact at Jonathan Rose Companies, focusing on empowering residents through community-driven initiatives. As Director of Sustainability at The Ladies Of Hope Ministries, Amber led efforts to support women post-incarceration. At the New York City Department of Transportation, Amber managed strategic initiatives related to the city's extensive bicycle network. Earlier roles include Program Manager for Philadelphia LandCare at the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society and internships at the Delaware River Waterfront Corporation and Concrete Safaris. Amber holds a Master's in City and Regional Planning from the University of Pennsylvania, an M.S. in Landscape Design from Columbia University, and a B.A. in Architectural Studies and Economics from Mount Holyoke College.
