Benjamin Colter

Benjamin Colter, CIMA®, currently serves as Vice President and Advisor Consultant at Nuveen, a TIAA company, since March 2022. Prior to this role, Benjamin worked at Janus Henderson Investors U.S. as Associate Director from July 2014 to March 2022, where consultation involved a range of financial advisors across the Washington, DC area. Earlier experience includes a position as Financial Consultant at AXA Advisors, focusing on portfolio management and insurance products. Benjamin's career began with a role as State Senator’s Aide at the Colorado State Senate, assisting with constituent communications and legislative research. Benjamin holds a Bachelor of Liberal Arts in Global Studies from Colorado Christian University and a Certificate of Completion in Outdoor Leadership from the National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS).
