Derek Wolff

Derek Wolff serves as a Senior Managing Director at Nuveen since April 2019, having previously held positions including Head of Strategic Product Development and Senior Research Analyst in Fixed Income at Nuveen Asset Management from 2004 to 2019. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. from the University of Chicago, completed in 2003, and a Master's degree from the same institution in 1997, alongside a Bachelor's degree from Carleton College obtained in 1992. Early career roles involved serving as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Harvard University, Deputy Director for Japan Affairs at the Office of the US Trade Representative, and Policy Analyst at the National Economic Council in The White House, as well as a Coordinator for International Relations with the Okayama Prefectural Government in Japan.
