James Kim is an experienced finance professional currently serving as the Head of Special Situations and US Capital Solutions, as well as Co-Head of Global Fixed Income Research at Nuveen, a TIAA company, since August 2020. Previously, James held various leadership roles at Symphony Asset Management, including Co-Head of Investments and Co-Head of Credit Research, from January 2007 to August 2020. Additional experience includes positions at Greywolf Capital Management, Symphony Asset Management as a Senior Analyst, Watershed Asset Management, and Goldman Sachs. James earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics with a focus on Accounting and Finance from The Wharton School between 1996 and 2000.
