John C.

John C. is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in portfolio management and asset allocation. Currently, as Sr Managing Director and Head of the Target Date Multi-Asset Team at Nuveen since February 2006, John oversees a team managing over $200 billion across multiple fund categories, including target date and variable annuity funds. Previously, John held roles at Morgan Stanley as US Research Director and at Van Kampen Investments as Portfolio Manager and Research Director, leading research initiatives and fund management. Early in John's career, a position as Quantitative Research Analyst at Franklin Templeton Investments laid the foundation for expertise in quantitative modeling. John holds an MBA in Finance from Columbia Business School, an MSE in Civil Engineering & Operations Research from Princeton University, and a BS in Civil Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University.
