Robert Campbell has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Robert started their career at Brown Printing Company in 1997, where they held various roles including Binder Supervisor, Stitcher Operator, and Perfect Binder Operator until 2013. From 2000 to 2016, they served as the Chief Executive Officer of Star Host Design, LLC. In 2013, they joined Corporate Graphics Commercial as a Book Binding specialist until 2016. Subsequently, they worked at NU-Telecom as a Telecom Network Technician and TechTeam Technology Solutions Technician, responsible for maintaining the Telecom network and providing IT support for businesses and residential clients. In 2018, they joined Nuvera as an IT Field Services Manager. Starting in 2021, they became a co-host for the Untitled Linux Show Podcast at TWiT.tv. Currently, they are an Adjunct Computer Careers Instructor at South Central College, a role they have held since 2022.

Robert Campbell's education history begins in 2002 when they attended Riverland Community College. Robert completed their Associates degree in Business in 2008. In 2015, they enrolled in South Central College and obtained an Associates degree in Networking Services in 2017.

In 2018, Robert pursued further education at Rasmussen University, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology Management in 2020.

In addition to their formal education, Robert obtained several certifications, including the MTA Networking Fundamentals from Microsoft in May 2017, the Bomgar Representative Certified v16 from Bomgar Corporation in October 2016, the CompTIA IT Fundamentals Certification from CompTIA in October 2016, the PC Pro from TestOut Corporation in December 2015, and the CompTIA A+ ce and CompTIA Network+ ce from CompTIA in December 2015 and September 2016 respectively.
