Surjit De

Surjit De has worked in various roles in the tech industry since 2001. Surjit started as a Technical Lead/Senior Developer at SAIC in 2001. Surjit then moved to Booz Allen Hamilton in 2005 as a Technical Manager, where they were instrumental in the design, development, and implementation of a procurement system for the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC). In 2008, they became a Technical Lead at Akimeka, LLC and then a Technical Manager at CollabraLink Technologies, Inc. in 2010. In 2012, they joined ITG - Incentive Technology Group as a Director, and then moved to CollabraLink Technologies, Inc. again in 2019 as a Director. Most recently, they are the VP of Engineering at Nuvitek since 2021.

Surjit De has a long and varied educational history. Surjit attended Kendriya Vidyalaya from 1984 to 1990, where they completed 10th Grade. Surjit then attended the Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University), Varanasi from 1992 to 1996, where they obtained a B Tech in Civil Engg. Finally, they attended Virginia Tech from 2002 to 2004, where they obtained an MIT in Information Technology. In addition to their formal education, Surjit has obtained several certifications, including Appian Level 2 Certified Professional (2020), Amazon Web Services Cloud Practitioner (2019), TOGAF Certification Program (2019), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) (2012), and Project Management Professional (PMP) (2007).
