Peter Chodkowski has a diverse work experience in the engineering field. Peter started their career at RHG Electronics as a tech in 1983 and worked there until 1985. Peter then joined Hazeltine as an Engineering Aide in 1985 and moved to M/A-COM Microwave Power Devices in 1986, where they held the same position. In 1989, Peter joined Honeywell Security and Custom Electronics (formerly Ademco) as a Sr. Engineering Aide, where they contributed to the development of short-range radios for the alarm industry. In 1996, they joined VT Miltope as an Associate Engineer and took on various responsibilities, including project engineering, supervising lab activities, and preparing qualification test plans and reports. Peter worked at Microwave Power Devices as an Engineering Aide from 1999 to 2000, focusing on high-power RF amplifiers and solid-state transmitter systems. From 2000 to 2006, they worked at Honeywell Security and Custom Electronics as a Technical Supervisor, improving repair turnaround time and quality ratings. Peter then joined Honeywell Aerospace in 2006, where they served as the Technical Supervisor/Quality Manager for a manufacturing facility specializing in aircraft lighting and display systems. In 2013, they joined NuWaves Engineering as the Engineering Technician Manager.

Peter Chodkowski attended Suffolk County Community College from 1981 to 1984, where they obtained an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Engineering. Subsequently, from 1984 to 1988, they enrolled at the New York Institute of Technology, majoring in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
